Hill covered in hundreds of Prayer Flags

Along the road from the airport to the town of Lhasa, I looked up into the hills and everywhere there were hundreds of prayer flags, everywhere we could see. Amazing!

This building contained a large chapel and quarters for the earlier Dalai Lama, prior to the building of Potala.

Potala Palace - Main Residence

Since no photos were allowed inside, this was the last picture we were able to take before entering the main residence of Potala Palace, the Dalai Lama's residence.
